Abdominal Massage/ Chi Nei Tsang
Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) is a gentle abdominal massage that, when done before colon hydrotherapy, helps to engage the body in the colon hydrotherapy session. CNT encourages faster detoxification by boosting organ strength and function. Awakening Wellness Centre encourages a combination of treatments and supportive therapies to help an individual experience detoxification and cleansing of the entire body.
This slow and gentle massage helps ease tension that may be held in the abdomen. In addition to combining this treatment with colon hydrotherapy, CNT has many other beneficial effects when used on its own.
It is widely believed that emotions are stored in the gut. CNT helps the body to release and process stored emotions, leading to a fuller and clarified emotional life.
Like other forms of massage, CNT is effective in stimulating the lymphatic and circulatory systems, and encourages their detoxification. CNT, however, is believed to strengthen the immune system as well.
Eliminating tension in the gut can rid the body of ongoing pain, including chronic pain in the back, neck and shoulders. CNT is an effective treatment for postural problems and releasing chronic pain throughout the body.
